Silver Mugisha, the Managing Director of Uganda’s National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC), has been awarded the highest order of service by the International Water Association (IWA). The prestigious honor was bestowed upon him by International Water Association ahead of the World Water Congress & Exhibition, to be held from August 11 to 15, 2024, in Toronto, Canada.


This accolade acknowledges Dr. Mugisha’s enduring dedication and exemplary leadership in the water sector, not only in Africa but also on the global stage.
