The Origin of Faith of Unity

The Faith of Unity traces its roots back to February 22, 1980, when Owobusobozi Bisaka performed his first miracle. On that day, he healed a woman known as Mutooro, who had been suffering from a life-threatening illness for ten years. This miraculous healing marked the beginning of a movement dedicated to spiritual enlightenment and physical healing, attracting a large following over the years.

Grand Celebrations at Muhororo

The celebrations began with a holy march from Kampyemi Healing City, the Faith’s headquarters, to the Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka International Stadium in Muhororo Town Council. The event drew thousands of faithful, government officials, and well-wishers, all gathered to honor the achievements and growth of the Faith of Unity.

During his address, Owobusobozi Bisaka urged his followers to support President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the government by actively participating in development programs such as the Parish Development Model (PDM), the four-acre model, and Emyooga. He emphasized that embracing these initiatives would significantly improve livelihoods and contribute to the nation’s development.

Bisaka expressed deep gratitude to President Museveni and his government for their unwavering support, which has enabled the Faith of Unity to flourish. He acknowledged the recognition given to the Faith’s role in fostering peace and unity in Uganda and appreciated the president’s endorsement of its mission to heal people spiritually and physically.

Conversion of New Believers

In a remarkable demonstration of the Faith's growing influence, Owobusobozi Bisaka welcomed over 75 new converts from other religions into the Faith of Unity. He encouraged them to uphold law and order and to take full advantage of government programs aimed at enhancing their economic and social well-being.

Political Leaders Show Support

The celebrations were graced by several political leaders from Kagadi District and beyond. Among them was the area Woman Member of Parliament, Jenifer Mbabazi, who expressed her gratitude to Owobusobozi Bisaka for his continued blessings and his unwavering support for the government. She encouraged the faithful to remain steadfast in supporting President Museveni and the National Resistance Movement (NRM) leaders.

Other leaders, including East African Member of Parliament Denis Namala and Mwenge North MP David Muhumuza, praised Bisaka for his spiritual guidance and attributed their electoral successes to his blessings. They reaffirmed their commitment to working alongside the Faith of Unity in promoting government programs and national development.

Future Plans: Owobusobozi Bisaka’s Visit to Arua

As part of his ongoing efforts to spread the Faith of Unity and mobilize support for the government, Owobusobozi Bisaka is scheduled to visit Arua in April. His visit is expected to further strengthen the Faith’s presence in the region while encouraging more believers to support the NRM government’s initiatives aimed at transforming Uganda.

The 45-year milestone of the Faith of Unity stands as a testament to the profound impact of Owobusobozi Bisaka’s teachings and miraculous works. His leadership continues to inspire thousands of believers across Uganda, fostering unity, healing, and socio-economic development. As the Faith of Unity moves forward, its followers remain committed to upholding its principles while supporting national progress.
