According to Baluku, most street lights in Kampala and other urban centers are not installed at adequate heights, making them vulnerable to vandalism. In response, Green Power International Ltd has adopted a strategic approach by installing street light poles at least 10 meters high. This height deters vandalism and ensures the longevity and effectiveness of the street lighting systems.
The company's efforts have been particularly visible in their projects with the Uganda National Roads Authority. They have successfully installed street lights in several key locations, including Zana on Entebbe Road, Masaka, and Kasese. Additionally, they have extended their services to landing sites across Uganda.
