Kitara Football Club Receives Generous Support from Rev. Fr. Leonard Kirikarama Akiiki

Kitara Football Club, a prominent team in Ugandan football, has expressed profound gratitude to Rev. Fr. Leonard Kirikarama Akiiki for his significant financial contribution. Rev. Fr. Akiiki has donated a generous sum of 10,000,000 Ugandan Shillings (Ten Million Shillings) to support the club's ongoing efforts in signing new players and renewing the contracts of existing players whom they plan to retain. This notable donation was announced by Kitara FC President Kasozi Deo Akiiki.


The contribution comes at a crucial time for Kitara FC as they prepare for the upcoming 2024/25 season and aim to enhance their competitiveness in the CAF Confederations Cup. The funds will be instrumental in bolstering the squad, ensuring the club can attract and retain top talent to meet their ambitions on both domestic and continental fronts.


Rev. Fr. Akiiki's support for Kitara FC is not a new development. He has been a steadfast supporter of the club, consistently contributing to various initiatives. His previous support has notably included the ongoing construction of Kitara FC's stadium in Butema, a project that is set to provide the club with a dedicated home ground.
