Owobusobozi Bisaka Celebrates 39 Years of NRM, Urges Support for President Museveni's Leadership

The founder and leader of the Faith of Unity, Omukama Ruhanga Owobusobozi Bisaka, has joined the nation in celebrating 39 years of the National Resistance Movement (NRM). This milestone coincides with the NRM’s Liberation Day celebrations held on January 26, 2025, at Mubende National Teachers College. Owobusobozi Bisaka’s message to his followers underscored the importance of supporting President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and his government for continued peace, unity, and national development.

During his three-day visit to the Bukwenda Healing Place (Ntuutu Intambiro) in Kakabara Parish, Kigambo Subcounty, Kyegegwa District, Owobusobozi Bisaka rallied his followers to uphold their support for the government. He emphasized that the stability and growth of the Faith of Unity could not have been possible without the conducive environment fostered by President Museveni's leadership.

“The NRM government has enabled peace and stability, which are the foundation of our Faith's success. Let us stand firm in supporting President Museveni as he continues to lead this country toward greater unity and development,” Owobusobozi Bisaka said.

*Milestones Achieved During the Visit*

The visit was marked by significant achievements for the Faith of Unity. Over 450 new followers, who had converted from other religious affiliations, were welcomed into the Faith. This influx of new members underscores the growing appeal of Owobusobozi Bisaka’s message of peace and unity.

In addition, 680 new staff members were inaugurated to disseminate the Faith's teachings and values. Owobusobozi Bisaka encouraged the new recruits to maintain discipline, uphold law and order, and actively engage in government programs aimed at improving community livelihoods.

Local leaders in Kyegegwa District expressed their gratitude to Owobusobozi Bisaka for his unwavering support for the government and his contributions to fostering harmony and development in the region. The area Woman Member of Parliament, Flavia Kabahedwa, commended Owobusobozi Bisaka for his blessings and guidance, which have positively impacted the community.

MP Kabahedwa also used the opportunity to remind residents to actively participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise, ensuring they are prepared for the next electoral cycle. “Updating the voters' register is not just a duty; it is a way of contributing to the democratic process and ensuring continued good governance,” she said.

*Upcoming Mobilization in Hoima*

Owobusobozi Bisaka announced plans for a visit to Hoima Bukwenda from January 29 to 31, 2025. During this visit, he is expected to further mobilize support for President Museveni and the NRM government. The Faith of Unity leader plans to continue spreading his message of peace and unity while encouraging residents to embrace government programs that uplift their social and economic well-being.
