Dr. Paul Mwambu was on December 28th 2024, appointed Prime Minister of the Inzu Ya Masaba by His Highness Umukuka III, Jude Mike Mudoma. As Prime Minister, he is entrusted with the critical responsibility of assisting His Royal Highness in overseeing cabinet affairs and the general administration of the institution's activities.

He is currently serving as the Commissioner for Crop Inspection and Certification at the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry, and Fisheries (MAAIF).
