SC Villa's Patrick Jonah Kakande Dominates the 2023/24 StarTimes Uganda Premier League Season Awards

In a night of celebration and recognition, SC Villa forward Patrick Jonah Kakande emerged as the biggest winner at the 2023/24 Uganda Premier League Season Awards gala. The event, held at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel, honored the league's standout performers, with Kakande's incredible season taking center stage.

Kakande's Stellar Season

Patrick Jonah Kakande, a key player for SC Villa, was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the season. His performance was pivotal in guiding the Jogoos to their first league title in two decades. Kakande's statistics for the season were impressive: he played 26 games, scored nine goals, provided four assists, and was named Man of the Match five times. His contributions on the field were instrumental in SC Villa's success, and he beat out strong competition from his teammate Ronald Ssekiganda, Muhammad Shaban (KCCA FC), Denis Omedi (Kitara FC), and Ronald Otti (BUL FC) to win the MVP accolade.
